These security controls work by identifying an individual or entity, verifying that the person or application is who or what it claims to be, and authorizing the access level and set of actions associated with the username or IP address. Key fob RFID readers are a great way to replace standard keys allowing control of who goes where and when while providing a history log of who has been where and when from a central PC location.
