Service Engineer (Fire & Security)​

The Role: The role will include service and maintenance, installation and commissioning works. These are mainly for small works and some larger projects. Carrying out works to a high standard, liaising with the office and customers, attend training courses when required, maintaining and demonstrating excellent communication skills and this role will require to be on the out of hours on call rota.

The Person: To be considered for this Service Engineer role you will need the following experience, qualifications, skills, knowledge and attributes:

​

• Experience of Service & Maintenance of Fire and Security Systems, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Systems
• Experience of Installation of Fire and Security Systems, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Systems

• Capable of undertaking work unsupervised, often under tight deadlines

• Customer focused approach with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• The ability to manage your own work load with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent time keeping

• Self-motivated and a team player

• Full UK driving licence

Qualifications: (preferred but not essential)
•· FIA Unit 1 – Fire Detection Design
•· Units 2 & 3 – Advanced Detection Design
•· Unit 4 – Installation & Testing
•· Unit 5 – Fire Alarm
•· IPAF
•· CSCS ECS Scheme
